Geodes

Geodes has a brand new website, managed with WordPress which would allow a better maniability and look.

Site is still under construction (writing pages without English mistakes, adding screenshots, figures …) so if it seems something to fail, don’t worry .

Thanks a lot and I hope you good way in the geometric jungle.

What will be added in next version of Geodes ?

I am working on several changes which will noticeably change the way the users uses Geodes. First of them are about the tool panel : no more text, only images, images that will reflect which “subtool” is used. This tool panel will also be retractable, like the inspector panel to have a larger workspace.
The “move” tool will also be more flexible : not only point can be moved, also lines and circles can be entirely moved without needing to put all the points together in an other place.
New Variables types have been also added ( points coordinates and line slope) and lines can be created with a new definition ( by definind its slope and a point of the line) .

These changes will be included in the next version of Geodes (0.3.8) and I still have a roadmap for the next version in which will be included a great math object : conics. But that’s not easy as we can imagine and a lot of work still wait me

The site has been added a new section: a wiki. This wiki a for subject geometry and programming and because its a wiki, everyone can and must help and participate … But, I think the wiki will maintained mostly in French.

Geodes 0.3.9 released !

This version fixes most of bugs of the previous versions, introduces conics, improve variables management and implement a zoom.

New version is dowloadable from the download page or directly here.
